The 1EC (compact) heated Spatula is a recent addition to the range and offers all the convenience of the standard 1E, but with the added benefit of having a smaller diameter handle and a shorter shaft length from handle to tip, which makes this an ideal tool for close working, as it fits comfortably in the hand.. The standard 1E tips will also operate on this "compact" model, which is available to purchase with or wothout tips.
