This special Control Unit model by Willard can be used to individually operate all Willard Heated Spatula types, all hand Lining Irons types and the new flexible blade heated spatula. The optional Temperature Monitor can also be used.
The Willard Control Unit was first developed over 50 years ago, whilst the components within both control unit models are regularly updated with the latest electronic components, the proven quality, durability and reliability remains unchanged.
Compatible spatula types: 1EM, 1E, 1EC, 2E, 3E, 4E, 5E, the Grooved E and the new flexible blade heated spatula.
Lining Irons types: 6E, 7E, 8E and 9E in all sizes.
A large, easy to read dial is used to set the contact surface temperature of the appropriate tool between ambient (room) temperature and 150°C (300°F) in 1°C steps. An indicator lamp on the face of the Control Unit, illuminates and pulses to indicate when heat is being delivered to the selected hand tool. Once the pre-set temperature has been achieved the indicator lamp ceases to illuminate. The set temperature is constantly maintained throughout the period of operation by further pulses of power for maximum consistency of temperature, when this occurs the indicator lamp will once again illuminate and pulse.
All units incorporate the proven safety cut-out circuits with input and output fused over-rides.
Special Control Unit Size is approximately 200 x 200 x 85mm (8 x 8 x 3in) and Weighs: 3.7kg (8 lb). These Controllers can be factory set, as standard to operate on either, 110V / 120V or 220v / 240v.
An adaptor can be purchased to enable the older type Hand Lining Irons to be operated with the new type connector fitted to the current model.
