Textile Washing Table

Willard Textile Washing Tables are used typically as support and drainage platforms, with adjustable tilt, for washing and rinsing treatments to large format textiles such as wall hangings, banners, apparel etc. They may also be used for wallpaper and other large sheet materials. Tables can be converted easily to washing tanks by mounting the detachable sides supplied with the unit.

 

 

Either configuration, as washing table or washing tank, is exceedingly useful for containment and drainage when treating a number of smaller items in trays.

Available with optional undersurface, sensor controlled heating System to maintain temperature of water, this is controlled via a wall mounted control box with temperature selection and thermostat.

The washing table consists of three main parts, an aluminium washing platform with two fixed sides and two detachable sides with a gutter which runs along the two open sides to a corner drain.  This is mounted onto a tilting sub frame assembly which provides manual tilt in both axis by means of a geared smooth hand crank mechanism. Both of theses assemblies are supported by a sturdy base support frame which can be supplied with either heavy duty lockable castors or foot pads, both of which have an adjustment feature to enable initial leveling with the floor.

Modes:

1. With the two detachable sides removed and the stainless steel rails in place, the table is suitable for gravity flow washing treatments. The angle of the platform can be adjusted in the two axis for efficient drainage.

2. With the two detachable sides in place the table becomes a washing tank suitable for immersion and float washing. A drain tap fitted to the long side discharges directly into the drainage outlet.
