Willard Supporting the Gerry Hedley Symposium

Willard is pleased to announce our support to the 32nd annual Gerry Hedley Symposium hosted by the conservation students of the Courtauld Institute of Art this coming June.

The Gerry Hedley symposium is a postgraduate student conference for the three Painting Conservation Institutes in the United Kingdom: the Courtauld Institute of Art, the Hamilton Kerr Institute at Cambridge University, and Northumbria at Newcastle University.

During this event (location yet to be confirmed), final-year postgraduates will present their current research and invite discussion on relevant topics.  Student delegates from all years will also have the opportunity to submit posters detailing important conservation projects; the posters will be displayed for all symposium attendees to read.

Kepp up to date with further details on the event over at the official Courtauld website here. The deadline for booking to attend the event is June 1st.

Supporting the next generation of conservators is extremely important to Willard, who is also the founding corporate sponsor of the Anna Plowden Trust, read more here.

Stay tuned to the Willard blog where we shall be keeping our blog readers up to date with more details on the event! For more regular updates, follow Willard on Twitter here!
