Used by the military right up to the end of the Second World War, the medieval Dartmouth Castle is set in one of the most beautiful coastal settings in England surrounded by stunning gardens. Built originally to protect Dartmouth harbour, the earliest parts of the castle date back as far as thea 1380’s.
