Recently, Willard Conservation had the pleasure of supporting the IIC’s Student & Emerging Conservator Conference in Bern, Switzerland.
The IIC’s Student & Emerging Conservator Conferences aim to provide a platform whereby students of art conservation, young conservators from around the world, and those in allied disciplines and professions, have an opportunity to meet and discuss their aims, needs and expectations at the outset of their conservation careers. The conferences allow the next generation of conservation professionals to learn from the experience and advice of professionals and share their plans for their futures.
The conference was held over two days and consisted of moderated panel discussions with current conservation professionals, studio visits and social events, all designed to provide attendants with ample opportunity for networking and the exchange of information.
